Do you remember the band Banshee from New Mexico? Shortly into my artistic career in the Christian underground metal scene, I connected with the one-man band, Banshee. He was working on a full-length album at the time after releasing a DIY two song demo cassette tape and a few sparse songs listed on some other underground compilation albums. Banshee needed a new logo and a cover art design. Both of which, I created with pencil. The large cover art piece was sold several years ago, but now I am finally letting go of the development sketch for the Banshee logo that later was scanned and digitally colored and used in the Banshee album entitled “Volume I”.

1. Banshee logo sketch (see the development of the logo with all of the erased pencil marks as well!). Date of creation (4/11/05) listed on the back of the paper with two other Banshee logo variations that led to the final design.(9.75x8)
